Job Summary
The Commercial Support Executive provides high-level commercial, administrative, and analytical support to ensure the smooth execution of business development and client operations. This role is responsible for preparing proposals, bids, and tender documents, coordinating pricing and quotations, and managing data analytics/reporting. The incumbent acts as the interface between BD, Finance, and Operations on commercial matters, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and competitiveness in all submissions
Job Details
Tender & Proposal Management:
•
Coordinate and manage the end-to-end tendering process (RFQs, RFIs, ITTs) from receipt to submission.
•
Draft high-quality, commercially sound proposals and presentations for the BD team, tailored to client needs.
•
Maintain a comprehensive library of tender documentation (Certificates, Audits, Policies, Profiles).
Pricing & Commercial Strategy:
•
Coordinate with Shipping Lines, Airlines, and Transporters to negotiate and obtain competitive buy-rates.
•
Prepare accurate quotations for clients, analyzing margins to ensure profitability and adherence to pricing policy.
•
Update and maintain the company’s standard tariff/rate cards for all services (Dry, Wet, Cold Chain).
Data Analytics & Reporting:
•
Manage the CRM database, ensuring data quality, user compliance, and generating sales performance reports.
•
Analyze sales data to identify trends, churn risks, customer profitability, and territory performance.
•
Track the success rate of quotations and tenders (Win/Loss Analysis) to inform future pricing strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Supply Chain, or Finance.
•
Certification in Data Analysis, Pricing Strategy, or Bid Management is beneficial.
•
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a Commercial Support, Pricing, Tender Management, or Sales Analysis role within the Logistics industry . Competency Requirements Knowledge Requirements Skill Requirement Personal Abilities

Strong knowledge of Logistics Pricing Structures (Freight, Haulage, Customs, Accessorial).
•
Understanding of Tender/Bid management processes and RFI/RFQ structures.
•
Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce) and Reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau).
•
Knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and Commercial Contract terms.
•
Understanding of financial metrics (Gross Margin, Markup, Yield, EBITDA impact).
•
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Financial Modelling).
•
Strong Technical Writing and Proposal Drafting skills.
•
Negotiation support and Vendor Management.
•
Interdepartmental Coordination and collaboration.
