Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Supply Chain Manager with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry regulations. This role requires expertise in procurement, logistics, inventory management, vendor relationships, and supply chain optimization.

Job Details

Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas 
  • Strategic Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management: Oversee procurement activities, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and vendor performance management.
  • Logistics & Distribution: Ensure timely and efficient transportation of materials, equipment, and products, optimizing routes and managing freight costs.
  • Inventory & Warehouse Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels, streamline warehouse operations, and minimize stock variances.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish KPIs, analyze supply chain performance, and generate reports for senior management.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as operations, finance, and project management to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
  • Technology & Process Improvement: Leverage digital tools and automation to enhance supply chain efficiency and transparency.
  • Crisis & Contingency Planning: Develop risk mitigation strategies to address supply chain disruptions, geopolitical risks, and market fluctuations.

Educational Requirements 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Preferred Certifications:
•    Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
•    Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
•    Project Management Professional (PMP) (optional)
 

Knowledge Requirements  
•    Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, and inventory management in the Oil & Gas industry.

Skill Requirement

•    Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
•    Understanding of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations related to supply chain operations in the Oil & Gas sector.
