Job Summary
The Store keeper is responsible for managing and overseeing the storage and inventory of physical goods. His primary role is to ensure that the stocks are well organised, accounted for and readily available for sale.
Job Details
1. Receiving & inspecting incoming shipments of the Aluzinc roofing sheets.
2. Recording and maintaining accurate inventory records of all received and stored stocks.
3. Labelling and categorization of the roofing sheets by colours, size and gauges.
4. Implementing proper storage techniques to maintain quality and conditions of the goods.
5. Regularly monitoring inventory levels to ensure that reorder levels are met and maintaining adequate stock levels to meet customer's demand.
6. Collaborating with traders, brokers or other internal stakeholders to coordinate the transfer or delivery of the roofing sheets.
7. Conducting regular stock checks and audits to reconcile physical stocks with recorded inventory, identify discrepancies and investigate any inventory variances.
8. Maintaing a clean and organized store/warehouse and ensuring proper documentation/labelling of all the stored goods.
9. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in the storage and handling of the roofing sheets including proper disposal of hazardous materials.
10. Collaborating with finance and accounting departments to provide accurate and timely data for tracking and reporting purposes such as inventory valuation or stock movement.
Requirements
BSC/HND
2-5 Years experience in store & inventory management.
